Blessing of the Shrine and Entrustment of the Parish

to The Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of All Angels

The Shrine of Our Blessed Lady

The Shrine has been funded entirely from sales of "Hymns for the Angels" CD, recorded here in Holy Angels Church;

the recording conceived, arranged and managed throughout, along with all subsequent marketing and sales, by

Cecilia Whelan, long term President of Holy Angels Blessed Sacrament Guild until her death on 5th July 2016.

May she rest blissfully in the bosom of Christ her Love in the blessed company of all His Saints.

The Shrine was designed and its construction managed by Cecilia herself, and it stands in memory

of all she contributed so lovingly and in so many ways within the Parish of Holy Angels.

The Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes

The Shrine was blessed by Fr Jonathan, and the Parish of Holy Angels entrusted to

The Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of All Angels, on Sunday 13 October 2013,

the day the world was consecrated to her Immaculate Heart by Pope Francis.
